The abrasion resistant knife gate valve is designed for slurry systems exposed to severe wear, sediment accumulation, leakage, and valve blockage problems commonly found in mining backfill, mineral processing, tailings transport, tailings dewatering, cement slurry, ash handling, coal washing, sludge, and fly ash applications.
Conventional slurry gate valves used in these systems often suffer from poor sealing, material jamming, and short operating life. Based on years of experience in mining process control and valve wear research, SDPLDL developed the DZF-Z series slurry knife gate valve by combining the advantages of domestic and international slurry gate valve designs with an improved sealing and structural system.
The valve uses highly wear-resistant polyester materials in the flow passage and sealing areas, while its special self-cleaning structure helps reduce sediment buildup and material solidification at the bottom of the valve. The design achieves reliable sealing under both low- and high-pressure conditions, and its service life in slurry conveying systems can exceed that of conventional slurry gate valves by more than ten times.
- Integrated wear-resistant sealing structure:
The valve seat, sealing areas, and flow passage components use one-piece wear-resistant polyester materials to improve durability and extend operating life in abrasive slurry systems. - Self-cleaning sealing design:
The contact area between the valve plate and seat uses a flexible self-flushing structure that helps reduce material accumulation and solidification at the bottom of the valve. - High-strength valve stem:
The stem is manufactured from stainless steel or alloy steel materials with heat treatment processing to improve strength and reduce the possibility of stem deformation during operation. - Stainless steel structural components:
The valve plate, bolts, and fastening components are manufactured from stainless steel for improved durability and corrosion resistance.
