Slurry systems can be exposed to severe wear, sediment buildup, leakage, and valve blockage problems. The wear-resisting wafer knife gate valve is designed for such challenges commonly found in mining backfill, mineral processing, tailings transport, tailings dewatering, cement slurry, ash handling, coal washing, sludge, and fly ash applications.
Conventional slurry valves in these systems often suffer from incomplete sealing, material jamming, and short operating life. Based on years of experience in mining process control and valve wear analysis, SDPLDL developed the DZF-F series wear-resisting wafer knife gate valve by combining the advantages of international slurry gate valve designs with an optimized sealing and structural system.
The valve uses highly wear-resistant polyester materials in key flow and sealing areas. A tubular discharge groove is equipped in its bottom section that allows accumulated solids to be discharged periodically or continuously during operation. This reduces material buildup inside the valve considerably and improves long-term operating stability in slurry conveying systems. The valve achieves reliable sealing performance under both low- and high-pressure conditions, and its service life in slurry applications can exceed that of conventional slurry gate valves by more than ten times.
- Integrated wear-resistant flow components:
The valve seat, sealing components, and flow passage areas use one-piece ultra wear-resistant polyester materials to improve durability and extend service life in abrasive slurry applications. - Built-in discharge groove design:
A tubular discharge groove at the bottom of the valve allows accumulated solids to be discharged periodically or continuously during operation, helping reduce sediment buildup inside the valve body. - High-strength stem structure:
The stem is manufactured from 2Cr13 material with heat treatment processing to improve strength and reduce the risk of deformation during operation. - Corrosion-resistant metal components:
The valve plate, bolts, and fastening components are manufactured from stainless steel for improved durability under demanding working conditions.
